TKA Alumni Join us for our Audition Showcase in October

Joining us for our Audition Showcase at the end of October is TKA Alumni Tess Soltau and Matthew James Thomas.

Tess is currently on Broadway starring as Glinda in Wicked.  Tess made her Broadway debut playing Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, followed by her role as Rapunzel in New York City’s Public Theatre production of Into the Woods.

Before playing Glinda, she had just wrapped up her run in the new musical, The Diner, by Barry Levinson and Sheryl Crow at Washington DC’s Signature Theatre.

After appearing on the London stage in Oliver, Fame and Whistle Down the Wind, British-born actor Matthew James Thomas moved to New York to appear in the original Broadway cast of Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark. In 2013, Thomas was tapped to play the title role in the first Broadway revival of Pippin. His film and TV credits include About a Boy, Billy Elliot and Britannia High.

We are so thrilled they both have taken time out of their busy schedules to come and clinic with our students as part of our Audition Showcase.
