Colorguard

The King's Academy Colorguard is an award winning ensemble of young ladies assembled from grades 8th – 12th. Membership is determined yearly through an audition.

The TKA Colorguard is a vital part of the Marching Lions. The Colorguard competes with the marching band throughout the fall. They also perform at all home football games and participate in parades. They also perform together in the second semester at the band's Forte program.

Members of the Colorguard are trained on flags, rifles and sabers. Their routines incorporate various styles of dance and contemporary choreography.
